Information we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, biometric data, precise geolocation, or health information. Please do not send us this information. If you tell our team about a food allergy or dietary restriction so we can serve you safely, we use it only for that purpose and retain it only as long as needed to serve you.
2. How we use your information

To recognize returning guests, note preferences, and tailor both our hospitality and our marketing to your visit history.

3. Cookies, pixels, and advertising technology
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (page loading, security, session management), for analytics, and for advertising.
Google Analytics collects information about how visitors use the Site, including pages viewed, session duration, and traffic source. You can opt out across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The Meta Pixel records actions you take on the Site — such as viewing a page or clicking to reserve — and reports them to Meta so we can measure our advertising and show ads to you, and to audiences resembling you, on Facebook and Instagram. You can manage this through your Meta account's Ad Preferences and Off-Facebook Activity settings.
Because we use the Meta Pixel, we "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under California law. We do not sell personal information for money. See Section 8 for how to opt out.
You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Site. Where a cookie banner is presented to you, your choices there govern non-essential cookies. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law. We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because no common standard for interpreting them has been adopted.
4. Third-party services
Each of the following processes data under its own privacy policy:

5. How we share information
We share personal information with:
-
Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, under contract, and only for those functions.
-
Advertising and analytics partners, specifically Meta and Google, as described in Section 3.
-
Professional advisors such as counsel and accountants, where necessary.

6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Marketing contacts are retained until you unsubscribe. Reservation, event, and gift card records are retained under the schedules of the platforms that hold them. Career inquiries sent to us by email are retained for up to two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, consistent with the New York SHIELD Act. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
8. Your rights and choices
Everyone. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional messages such as reservation confirmations.
Opting out of targeted advertising. To opt out of our sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, email us with the subject line "Opt Out of Sharing," adjust your Meta Ad Preferences, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.
California residents. Residents of the EU/EEA and UK. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are consent (marketing and non-essential cookies), contract performance (reservations, events, gift cards), and legitimate interests (security, service improvement, guest recognition). You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
To exercise any right, email jragonese@selenerestaurants.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written authorization.
